1978: Graduated from Osaka Meisei High School
1984: Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Osaka University

1984: Joined NEC Kansai and was assigned to the Development and Research Department.
Engaged in the development of thin-film magnetic heads, including:
(1)Development of high-performance magnetic material films for thin-film magnetic heads
(2)Magnetic circuit design of thin-film magnetic heads (3D magnetic field analysis using finite element method, mask design)
(3)Wafer process design
(4)Processing process design
(5)Product evaluation.
 
Afterwards, transferred to NEC Kansai Patent Center
Engaged in activities such as:
(1)Exercising patent rights, discovering infringement by other companies, and collecting evidence
(2) Handling applications, intermediate procedures, examinations, and filing objections

1998: Worked in the Intellectual Property Department, External Affairs Division, at NEC Headquarters.
Involved in activities such as exercising patent rights, responding to infringement warnings from other companies, and conducting license negotiations.
Mainly specialized in the field of wireless communications, including transmission (SONET/SDH, etc.), switching (ATM, etc.), wireless communications, MPEG (video coding methods), defense agency-related matters, NASDA-related matters, ITS, car electronics, and other electronics devices related to IT.
