Our office provides technical consulting services on antenna engineering, electromagnetic wave engineering, medical electromagnetic wave engineering, and human body phantom through the expertise of Professor Koichi Ito, a professor emeritus of Chiba University, who serves as a technical consultant.
Career
【Education】
March 1974: Graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University.
March 1976: Completed the Master's course in Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Chiba University.
January 1985: Received a Doctor of Engineering degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
【Professional Experience】
April 1976: Appointed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology.
November 1979: Transferred to the Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University as an assistant professor, later becoming an associate professor.
December 1997: Promoted to full professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University.
April 2003: Transferred to the Research Center for Frontier Medical Engineering, Chiba University as a professor.
April 2005: Concurrently appointed as Vice-Director (Industry-Academia Collaboration and Intellectual Property) at Chiba University, serving until March 2009.
April 2005: Concurrently appointed as Director of the Intellectual Property Department at Chiba University, serving until March 2006.
April 2006: Concurrently appointed as Deputy Director of the Industry-Academia Collaboration and Intellectual Property Organization at Chiba University, serving until March 2009.
April 2008: Concurrently appointed as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University, serving until March 2009.
April 2009: Concurrently appointed as Director of the Center for Frontier Medical Engineering at Chiba University, serving until March 2015.
March 2016: Retired from Chiba University.
April 2016: Appointed as Professor Emeritus at Chiba University and Visiting Professor at the Center for Frontier Medical Engineering at Chiba University.
April 2016: Appointed as Visiting Professor at Hiroshima University and other institutions.
June 2016: Founded Ito EM Technologies Co., Ltd.
April 2022: Technical consultant at Kudo International Patent Office.
